The 5 Best Coats At Low, Medium, High Price Points
“Where the ___ is my ___ing coat?” (read in Natalie from Love Actually voice)
by The Candidly Team
If there is a singular item in our closet that has the power to instantaneously transform us from the sweatshirt-wearing, greasy-haired slobs we are 87% of the time to chic, coiffed, intentional lay-dees, it’s the coat. One good coat does absolutely everything.
But why are so many of them so … not good? Why are they stiff and scratchy and restrictive and bulky all at the same time?
We’ve been on a personal quest to find the best coats in every key category of coat. And we found them. All 5 of them! At 3 different price ranges.
And while it might seem wise to always, always invest in a coat, given weather and wear and that a great one is meant to last a lifetime, not every category of coat requires us to spend a fortune. For example, you yourself might be a classic, drapey winter coat person and so, that’s where you’re willing to put your hard-earned dollars. Or you might be a leather jacket lady who has yet to find that perfect shape, effortlessly cool version you’ve been dreaming about since 1993. Obviously, we’re all gonna spend more on the specific things that speak to us, but just because we’re long coat people doesn’t mean we can’t also own a gorgeous leather jacket. And that’s where finding those lower priced gems comes in handy. And none of this really matters anyway because all of the coats on this list are beautiful and impeccable quality at every. single. price point.
Okay, we’ll shut up now. Let’s get to the coats.
