We have recently become obsessed with Paige. And it’s simply because they make the most flattering, sculpting, shockingly comfortable jeans on planet earth. We have tried to dupe them. But we can’t. Nothing nothing nothing is like them. And we’ve rationalized the price the way we rationalize coat prices—we will wear them forever. And then we break them down to cost per wear, and since we wear our very favorite Paige jeans 3 times a week (minimum) and bought them 2 years ago, that means we’ve worn them a minimum of 312 times which equals out to be 80 CENTS per wear. Anessa 31" Wide Leg Jean
These are the jeans that originally made us fall in love with Paige jeans, but we were previously buying our jeans at Old Navy, so we couldn’t make sense of the price. But then we realized we only reached for them whenever we wore jeans. And we never touched any other pair of jeans again. Why? They are almost impossibly soft and stretchy and feel like cozy pajamas. They fit every body type, there’s enough length in the inseam so as to go right up to your natural waist with zero gaping, and they come in 2 lengths. Anessa Wide Leg Jean
Same jeans as above, just in the “standard” length. Which, yes, is somewhat confusing. In this case, standard means cropped (for most people) and has a 27-inch inseam as opposed to the 31-inch above. Do we wear these just as much as the longer ones? We do! It’s a sickness! We are not looking for a cure! We love the cropped version when we want to highlight our shoes more or don’t want to worry about our pants being long enough to wear with a heel.

Charlie 32" Flare Jean
Ah. The flare. We’ve been searching for a perfectly proportioned flare jean for, oh, 32 years? And this is it. They feel like an old pair of vintage jeans you inherited, except they fit like they were made specifically for your body. They also come in a long length, but these are 32 inch and are perfect with a short heel. This whole outfit (the SHIRT is also Paige) is a perfect choice for those of us who rankle at the idea of getting fancily dressed up for parties and the like but still want to make an impression. Because somehow flare jeans look fancy.

6. Flaunt Denim // Ambition Wide Leg Jean
These are Paige’s curvy line, and they do not disappoint. The hip-to-waist ratio is a dream come true for curvier gals, and if you’re tall, they’re long! 34 inch inseam! But if you’re not tall, hemming is likely in your future. But truthfully, hemming jeans is so inexpensive, and it’s lovely to have the exact right length you want.

7. Portia Wide Leg Jean
Not everyone will love these. But the people who do love them will love them so very deeply. They feel like old, impossibly soft painter jeans, except with no pesky paint splatter. They fit and feel more like a trouser, but they read as denim. They’re insanely comfortable and chic and we paired them with our vaguely French sweatshirt from Amazon that was under $20. We also love them with a cropped blazer or a slouchy soft sweater. In short, we just love them. Deeply.

A Cropped. Denim. Blazer. We didn’t realize this was missing from our life, but it was. The structured shoulder pads make your waist look itty bitty and while it’s denim, you never feel stuffed into it like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. It’s one of those “have forever” pieces that is utterly trend-proof. The handful of times we’ve worn it already we’ve had bountiful compliments.

You saw this shirt above, but it needed its own moment in the sun. Covered placket buttons makes it feel a little bit fancy, and the striping is just very unexpected and chic. The extra long cuff is also a lovely detail. Paige always makes interesting, subtle choices that mean you don’t look like everyone else. And we love it. This is the color. This is it. That perfect burnt caramel warm color. Paige does color so, so well. We love this as an “inside” jacket because we’re never not cold. And listen.
