If You You Have Fine Hair That Breaks Easily But Also Looks Dirty Every Time You Use Product This Spray Will Quite Possibly Change Your Life
WHAT: Lolavie Glossing Detangler
WHY: About the time we hit 35, we noticed we were losing more hair in the shower, on our pillows, round our sinks. But it wasn’t until we tossed our hair back into a ponytail one otherwise unmemorable morning when we fully realized that our hair had become much, MUCH thinner.
Some of us who have had thin hair all our lives know the drill. Maybe we were told by some sympathetic stylist “noooo, you have a lot of hair, it’s just that each strand is fine.” Or maybe it was always a numbers game.
But no matter what our scantily-scalped origin story is, once we hit mid-life, the shedding can be very much the same for very many women.
So what to do?
There are of course the health things. The hormone things. The conversations with our doctor that are absolutely critical to your own personal solution. BUT then … there are also the at-home things. The trial and error things. The things we do alone in our showers where we notice, after weeks and months, oh my God, this is actually making a difference.
And all of this, my friends, is a very long-winded way of saying we have found such a thing.
After trying supplements (we did personally see new growth after using THIS one), and serums (THIS one we cannot be without), and boar-hair brushes, and brushing from the bottom down before even daring to touch out our scalp in an effort to stop losing our precious hair, we realized we were overlooking something so obvious, so juvenile, it almost felt embarrassing. And that was … a detangler.
All our adult lives, us fine-haired women have learned to fear product. 99% of them make our hair look greasy, weighed down, unclean. Even if we get a full 3 hours of volume, we find ourselves having to wash it all out that same night if we don’t want to wake up looking like we lacquered our scalp in LA Looks. Using a detangler felt at best useless - at most, risky.
Until we tried THIS one. Funnily enough, it comes from brand from a hair icon. It’s Lolavie’s Glossing Detangler from Jennifer Aniston.
We spritzed it on one day, post-shower, the time where we typically dread having to weed through our knots and watch clumps of hair gather in our brush. The first thing we noticed was how smoothly the comb went through our normally depressing tangles. We also noticed how little hair we lost in the process.
But the real test was blow drying - the step where so many products end up leaving our hair looking wet … even after it’s completely dried.
Long story short, we were startled by the results. Our hair was soft, glossy, fuller, and not a trace of wetness, grease, or product could be detected.
It should be said, we tested this on the finest, most sensitive hair we could find. And nothing was left behind. Just a gorgeous dose of volume and shine.
The funny thing is nothing about Lolavie screams it will be good for fine hair. If anything, we assumed it was made for the strong, lioness locks of the Rachels of the world. But no. The formula is so clearly perfect for women over 40, where hair starts to get dryer and wispier and there’s simply less of it.

A few highlights:
Not only is it a detangler but also a heat protectant with a thermal shield that works for styling up to 450°F.
It gets rid of flyaways like nothing else we’ve seen.
Its penetrating, yet light-as-air hydration helps prevent any breakage.
And finally, its lemon peptides leave you with ample shine and softness.
Bottom line is, we just have to spray it on before we dry, and whoosh, we’re done.
We use it religiously, and since we started, we’ve not only noticed that our hair looks significantly healthier each time we style it, but over time we’ve lost less hair. So when new hair grows, we see actual improvement in its overall density.
Never in a million years did we think something so simple could be so game-changing. But since we have, we of course, had to tell you. And cherry on top, it’s less than $30.
And that, my friends, is closure. (Sorry, couldn’t help it.)
