We Couldn’t Stop Thinking About The Clothes From The White Lotus. So We Found Them. Sort of.

by The Candidly Team

We could talk for days about the plot of White Lotus, the accents, the music, the lingering question of who the f__ doesn’t rinse out a blender before using it?

But today, we’re here to talk about something far less controversial - the clothes.

Apart from being a frenzy of color and a carefully curated exhibition of wealth, the clothes were good. Wildly good. Makes us want to slather on self-tanner, buy a plane ticket, and get ourselves to a beach - any beach - good.

Also, and we’re less proud of this, but it made us want to shop. Suddenly our denim shorts and rubber flips and solid tanks felt very sad to us as far as vacation clothes go. We were definitely … inspired … to dress more exciting, more bold, more fun … and yet still sophisticated and comfortable and chic. Isn’t that the whole point of vacation clothes?

Bottom line is, we went on a hunt for White Lotus-inspired pieces that fit into our real lives (*cough* bank accounts).

And here’s where we landed. Cue “woowoos.”

1. The Effortless RESORT Dresses

1. Vitamin A Cerise Caftan

Nothing is better than something you can just slip on and feel effortlessly elegant. And that is the promise of the resort dress, or in this case the resort caftan. The palette is pure White Lotus Season 3 and the fabric is this luxe, breathable silk alternative that’s perfect for the heat.

Price: $195

2. The White Lotus x AQUA Ruffle Floral Mini Dress

This dress actually comes from Aqua’s exclusive White Lotus-themed collection, which you should really see in its entirely, but the spaciousness of this dress which covers your tum after 5 rounds at a breakfast buffet paired with the chic length pushed it straight up to our leaderboard.

Price: $118

3. J.Crew Crinkled maxi dress in block print

Airy perfection and the way the smocking nips the waist is blissfully flattering.

Price: $86.50

4. Camilla x White Lotus Gathered Jersey Midi-Dress

Another style that comes from the brand Camilla’s incredible White Lotus line. Now, the price is definitely more in sync with the budgets of a White Lotus guest, but if you’re looking for that one standout, unbelievable vacation look, be it a dress, a printed pant, or a swimsuit you might just find it in this collection. Also, Saks is having a sale right now that is definitely slashing the price of some of our favorite styles, including this unbelievable dress.

Price: $625

5. Bsubseach Kaftan Dress

We could direct you to a thousand silk, designer caftans, but sometimes on a sandy, sweaty trip to the beach, all we really just want is a pretty $30 thing we can throw on and feel elegant. This is that thing.

Price: $33

6. Diarrablu Naim Dress

And now for the showstopper. The prints on the caftans from Diarrablu are almost too incredible to choose from. Their size range is a dream. Their quality divine. The brilliance of a caftan is we can feel completely covered up while still feeling light and cool and summery and stunning. And we achieve all of this the moment we slip on a Diarrablu dress.

Price: $285

7. The White Lotus X Aqua Palm Print Maxi Dress

This lovely maxi feels like something Piper or Victoria would wear on a yacht, and it’s no wonder, because it once again comes from Aqua’s WL Collection. Also, we’re a bit floored by the price. Dresses like this typically cost 3-5x as much.

Price: $128

2. The Slip-On Separates

8. Z Supply Tomas Madero Button Up Top and Cima Madero Short

This is honestly the most wearable dupe for Jaclyn’s enviable blue shorts set. You can layer it over a tube top or a ribbed tank, and you get that casj yet put-together gorgeousness that’s honestly very rare when you’re wearing shorts. The shorts are elastic so they nip the waist, which is great because while we’re so happy she has her beautiful … abs, we do not remotely have them ourselves.

Price: $89 for the top, $59 for the shorts

9. Free People Magic Dance Border Print Duster

How many times did we watch enviously as yet another smoldering swimsuit look complete with a delicate kimono filled our Sunday night TV screen? This layering device is genius for those of us who don’t love trotting around in bathing suit or even in shorts, and it just makes everything 12x chicer.

Price: $58

10. Farm Rio Delicate Flower Linen Arabesque Top And Skirt

No words. We let unbelievable sets speak for themselves.

Price: $120 for the top, $190 for the bottoms

11. By Anthropologie Linen Palazzo Pants

The drpaiest and dreamiest of wide-leg linen pans that snatch the waist and cover hips and look good on everyone.

Price: $148

12. Diarrablu Seur Skirt

A printed wrap skirt is a hack for skipping shorts altogether and for going straight from the pool to a fancy lunch. We love it in black and cream over our black swimsuits, but any color really works with it.

Price: $155

3. The Poolside Pieces

13. Marysia Ligne Maillot

The swimsuits were obviously very good, but in order for them to be realistic for us to actually want to wear, the fit needs to be just as incredible as the look. A white suit isn’t all that daunting when it fits like this one, and there is nothing more luxe than that tiny sliver of black trim. Nothing.

Price: $185

14. Juillet The Lulu Top And The Luisa Bottom in Persephone

This is the exact two-piece Kate mixed and matched in White Lotus, and Juillet has such beautiful prints and flattering fits that we just went straight to the source on this one. Try it. It will be your best bikini.

Price: $129 for the top, $119 for the bottoms

15. J. Crew Lana one-piece in Classic Sculpt™

The fit is everything with one-pieces. Well that and the color. This suit is from master swimsuit maker for real-life, all-size women, J.Crew. It’s made from “magic” fabric that sculpts you the exact way you dream of being sculpted. The low neckline is also incredible in framing everything from your waist up.

Price: $69.50

16. Celandine Printed Embroidered Sarong

You can’t go wrong with a sarong. We’re dumb, we know. But we still think we chose a pretty effin’ gorgeous print here.

Price: $98

J.Crew Factory Ruffle french bikini top and High-Waisted Bikini Bottom

The spitting image of Chelsea’s red, ruffle bikini with a slightly more supportive top that doesn’t force us to reveal too much. Such a Scorpio, we suppose

Price: $29.50 for the top, $19.50 for the bottoms

BONUS: THE ACCESSORIES

The Bucket Hat: That Gucci hat that lingers in our fantasies can still be purchased HERE. But the straw version is also very chic and much more sanely priced.

The Headscarf: So you don’t even care a wink about wet hair.

The Poolside Tote: Just the right size for a book … or two.

The Serpent Necklace: In case you also wanted to snatch it.
